On September 21, 2022, PESHAWAR, Pakistan. To boost productivity, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration has chosen to implement drone technology in the policing, farming, mining, and rescue sectors.
Mahmood Khan, the chief minister, presided over a meeting with the chief secretary, Dr. Shahzad Bangash, the IGP, Moazzam Jah Ansari, the additional secretary, and other administrative secretaries, and approved the project's implementation to deploy drone technology in important areas.
He said that the use of drone technology will enhance the police force's operational and investigative capacities and that using drones for patrol would help to save police officers' lives. The utilization of drone technology is now necessary due to its role in boosting productivity, reducing workload and manufacturing costs, improving accuracy, and addressing security issues.
